The project that started it all. A relatively small live edge slab of black walnut was transformed into a coffee table. The black diamond pigment in the resin accents the natural beauty of the walnut while adding depth and visual movement within the river. The shapes within the river were created from the natural exothermic reaction of the epoxy curing, and actually churning the pigment and moving it around.
Mounted on top of black stainless steel legs and finished with Rubio Monocoat (a natural oil and wax finish) for durability and to bring out the natural beauty of the wood.
